It's the 2 day point. The Doctor told us to check Kodi's wound to make sure it's not infected...so this is Rick's first look. (Should have turned off the TV first) Rick said, "He just about cut it off", and I had to agree. The Doctor told us it's one of the worst cuts you can get on your thumb.
7 Stitches, still some discomfort this morning.
Kodi now has to wash it once a day for the next 4 days and keep it wrapped up. Then it is protected by the plastic cage that goes over it.
Here he is blowing it dry, before we wrapped it back up.
Wrapping it up, wasn't so much fun.

But, it's done for at least 24 hours!

Hey, thanks for not getting too close on the close-up shots!
No infection so far. That's good. That just makes my guts hurt looking at that cut. Poor Kodi! Although, that's a pretty good story to impress his friends with when he goes back to school.
