Tuesday was Lexie's first day to ride the bus! Because of staggered start kindergarten, she only went to school one day the first week. But everyday she saw her bus go past our house. Teachers recommend you drive your kindergartner the first two weeks of school, but when Lexie was ready to ride that's all she talked about! Here she is on the bus! She is the first child picked up. Mrs. White her bus driver seems very nice!
Right after they picked up Lexie, the turned the corner and picked up one block away!
When Lexie home she told me all about the bus and how she loved to ride it! She promptly asked me, "Can I ride the bus tomorrow? And the next day? And the day after that?"
