Rick headed out to Myrtle Beach on Wednesday night with JCR3 Racing. He had to drive the truck with the race cars and equipment to the track at Myrtle Beach.I had the honor and privledge of packing the rest of the family, loading the van and driving with all four kids by myself, to Myrtle Beach, on Thursday!
First stop, the library to borrow some new DVD's. Second stop, the house as Lindsay forgot her headset. (We found out later that her batteries were dead anyway) Third stop was along the highway where Kodi had to pee! Forth stop was at CiCi's pizza in Monroe. (We'd only gone an hour at this point!) The fifth stop was again
along the road so Kodi could pee. (Mental note: Kodi may not have soda of any kind on a road trip!)Lindsay snapped pictures the whole way to the beach, some inside the car, some of Darlington Raceway and some of the water.
For the most part the kids did well on the trip. We found the hotel and I once again was lucky enough to be able to unload all our stuff and get us settled in our room. Right away we got on our suits and headed out to the Beach. When Rick had finished with work he found us on the Beach, we convinced him to change and swim. Which he
did and he joined us in the lazy river for a little while.After the swim we headed out to McDonalds, I couldn't believe it was 9:30! We ate dinner and stopped for a few groceries. Last stop was to BED! I was so glad when the last little person was sleeping!
