Pappy comes for a visit!

The Sunday after school let out Pappy, Pam and Charlie came for a visit. They arrived Sunday afternoon. I made a turkey dinner with all the fixin's. It was delicious! They had gotten up early in the morning around 3am and traveled to be with us. The got a hotel in Mooresville and headed to our house! We were really looking forward to their arrival!

Once we headed outside and Charlie found Lexie's jeep we were stuck outside until the battery died! Charlie loved the jeep and how fast it would go. Their whole visit I had to make sure the battery was charged!

On Monday morning I took them all to some of our favorite spots, the Sandbox park and the duck park in Davidson. The kids loved the sandbox which is as big as a living room! Then feeding the ducks thrilled Charlie, and terrified Lexie!
Charlie is giving Lexie a hug here! They were having so much fun! Charlie will be 4 in August!

Kaylie wasn't into being hugged at this time. But every chance she got she was sitting on Pappy's lap. She just loved him all the time!


We ended out visit on Tuesday night when we went to the Gem theater in Kannapolis. We watched the new Cars movie! It was so good! We laughed out loud many times! We shared popcorn, soda's and kids all throughout!

At the end of the movie we said our goodbye's and headed home. We had such a wonderful visit and are looking forward to them coming to see us again!
