Our Lindsay came into this world on November 22, 1994! She weighed in at 8 lbs and a half ounce. We were so excited to have her! She was a perfect beautiful baby girl, with plenty of hair and a healthy set of lungs. It was one of the happiest moments of our lives. I'll never forget delivering Lindsay and looking up at her Daddy who had a tear in his eye! Lindsay is pictured here at 3 months old.
A late start to kindergarten with her november birthday. Lindsay was eager and ready, as her poor little brother was left behind at home, too young for school.
Lindsay is a second grader here. She had spent time with Grandma in the summer. Lindsay wanted to get her ears pierced. I agreed, but only if she had a hair cut that would allow you to see her ears. So Grandma took her to get her hair cut. Lindsay hated the hair cut and she cried and cried over it! Then Grandma and Aunt Jennifer took Lindsay to get her ears pierced. Darnedest thing, she had to have parental consent. So a few weeks later when I arrived, off we all went again to get her ears pierced. Once there, they marked her ears for the piercing and were ready to go when Lindsay chickened out. Not too many more requests for getting her ears pierced until recently.
Finally on her 12th birthday Lindsay did it! She got her ears pierced! That was one of her presents from Mom and Dad. She received, cash and gift cards all of which are burning a hole in her pocket.
Lindsay requested a triple chocolate cake. Chocolate cake, icing and chocolate chips on top! She also gets a date night with me and her friend Kelsey, we plan on eating Japanese and seeing a holiday movie. Happy 12th Birthday Lindsay, We love you!
