Here's my littlest love! Lexie Anne Liptrap was born on December 14th, 2001! She weighed in at 9 lbs. 1.5 ounces. We were all so excited to have her in our family! When Rick and I told Lindsay and Kodi they were going to have another sibling, both looked at us strange, unsure, then Kodi pretended to faint! We knew they would welcome a baby into our home, and certainly did. Lexie was a bit fussy at first, her very first Christmas she spent time in the swing while the vaccuum was running near her. (It worked wonders in getting her to stop crying)
Lexie is 6 months here, we went to visit our family in MD. On this day Angie Bradner and I played photographer. Angie had just had baby Ella. It was loads of fun, until my naked girl peed on this very blanket!
This picture was taken at Myrtle Beach. Lexie was old enough to sit up, around 7 months but unable to go anywhere. She stayed on the blanket most of the time. Daddy and I would stand her up in the sand and let the water rush onto her toes. It made her cry, so we went back to our blanket. She did wonderful there, slept in the stroller while Lindsay and Kodi played in the waves!
Lexie is 9 months here, and we played around outside taking pictures. Almost walking now. So sweet!
This picture was taken at Aunt Kate's family reunion in Sparta, NC, July 2003. Just a week before our whole world would change by welcoming a new addition, Kaylie to our family!
This is my sweet Lexie, playing at the park. Grandma is with us visiting, because we just added baby Kaylie to our family. Lexie is 19 months here and she loves her little Sister so much. Mommy loves Lexie and these pig tails so much!
